Marnie Bacon is a spirited member of
the yoga community. She is committed to her practice, to creating more
beauty in the world and to sharing her love through yoga, bodywork and
music.
She is a soulful and
compassionate yoga teacher who earned her basic certification in
Kripalu Yoga. Additionally, she is certified in
Kripalu Danskinetcs (Yoga/Dance), Vinyasa yoga and is a recent
graduate of the Anusara Yoga Immersion. She has studied and practiced
alongside several of today's leading devotional musicians. And Marnie
is also an
experienced, licensed, certified massage therapist: a graduate
of the Kripalu School of Bodywork.
Currently based in Marshfield, she
has offered various yoga classes and workshops including yoga for
empowering
young women, yoga for grieving teens and young adults, yoga for women
during the "transition", Kirtan, and enlivening yoga/dance. She has
taught special classes to all age ranges from senior citizens to
Brownie
troops.
To share her deep love of yoga with
the community, she began a
summer series of yoga classes, which was in its 4th successful year
this
summer, held at the Historic Winslow House in Marshfield. She, along
side a merry band of musicians, launched a lie-music yoga program at
Dragonfly Studio in Marshfield and she is a key
teacher for the Yoga at the River’s edge series. Marnie is available
for private and semi-private sessions and for functions.
Forever a student of yoga, Marnie
finds herself particularly inspired by Anusara Yoga and travels
regularly to study with her teachers.
